Iconic Bali Stays

Getting around in Bali.

First up, wear a helmet. Accidents happen all the time, and there is no point in being a statistic because you failed to do this when you wouldn’t even dream about the same behaviour at home.

GoJet and Grab are the local ways to get around if you don’t want to drive and would rather book a driver. Download the app to book. It will be loads cheaper than hailing a driver down on the road. You can book or hail a motorbike; they will all have helmets you can wear.

Getting around Bali

But if you still choose to hire a motorbike, they are around $20 AUD a day. You will need to prearrange an international licence, but it is super quick.

Here is the link: 🌐 Apply for an International Driver's License in 8 Minutes - 24/7 Customer Support (internationaldriversassociation.com)

You need a licence from your country of origin to be able to apply.

I have never used the link personally, as I just shoot around on grab bikes with drivers. This may change one day.

Let me know how you go.

Save this tip for later,
